Tag, you’re it!

This response is a wee bit delayed, I didn’t see this in my inbox message until now. But nonetheless, this won’t go on ignored, and it shall be my pleasure to write up this post.

So! Ten things about me:

1. I am ambidextrous. I was born a left hander, but my parents forced me to use my right hand to write when I was a little kid. So I can use both hands to write (I choose to use my right because it’s easier). I brush my teeth and eat with my left. When it comes to strength and precision, like playing badminton or throwing a ball, I use my right. 
2. I dance like crazy by myself quite regularly in my room at night. These dancing spells can last until 4 in the morning.
3. I have bleached/coloured streaks in my hair. I change the colour quite regularly, but lately, I’ve grown attached to the pink. My parents hate the bright colours. They think I look uncivilised so they hide me from the relatives lol.
4. I named my laptop ‘Frodo’ and I named my car ‘Appa’… And I named my iPod ‘Prince Zuko’, in honour of the hottest fictional character in existence (sorry Link, you’re still a smokin’ babe though), and yes, I do get attracted to fictional characters. This is mostly due to the result of me being a social reject with limited friends.
5. I am a regular blood donor. My next donation is this Friday! Yay.
6. I am currently wearing a black tank top, my MOST favourite navy blue Bonds bra, royal blue Davenport undies, and a red polka dotted pair of boxer shorts.
7. I tend to wear my heart on my sleeve. Which really sucks. I make bad choices because of that very reason. Which again, really sucks. (Clearly, I’m hurting right now lol)
8. I love the colour red. Especially when it comes to clothing. I chose a $400 pair of prescription glasses when I was 16, all because I was deeply attracted to the red frames (am I still wearing the same pair to this day). However, as much as I love red, using it sparingly is highly recommended.
9. I accomplished a long term goal today! *warning: upcoming Zelda geekery* I defeated the Great Bay Temple boss, Gyorg (The Legend of Zelda, Majora’s Mask), after numerous attempts and rage quits. Who else thinks Zora Link is really hard to control under water?? He’s so damn slow! And he kept bumping into the ledge and eating chewed on, when I wanted him to climb back onto the surface. BAH!
10. 2011 has been a massive rite of passage for me. I have experienced and learnt so much last year. I have become much more independent, my ‘Appa’ and all dat drivin’ solo has greatly contributed to that. I made a lot of new friends, and opened up my world beyond that safe and familiar bubble. 2011 has changed me in many ways, and I have grown so much as a person, either for the better or worse. It was a good year for me.
